Math - Science

The Frontier math department believes that all our students are developing mathematicians.  Frontier seeks to strengthen in every student the desire and ability to apply reason, analyze logically, and think critically. Students are given opportunities to improve basic skills while, being introduced to deeper concepts and skills that will provide a strong background for those who will continue their advanced academic work with the goal that all students will ultimately be able to apply mathematical concepts in real-life situations and become persistent problem solvers.

The Frontier science department believes that, at its core, science should seek to enhance the natural curiosity and sense of inquiry inherent in all students. The curriculum and course sequence is designed to foster an understanding of the core concepts and scientific practices propounded by the Next Generation Science Standards. Students are able to explore a wide range of topics touching on our current understanding of the world around us with the goal that they will be able to apply these concepts in real-life situations
