Learn Loss Cohort Program:

On Monday, November 9th our Rocket community welcomed students back on campus that are participating in our Learn Loss Cohort program. FHS has 2 cohort groups participating in the program led by Mr. Jackson and Mrs. Corey. We are grateful to our office support, nurse, maintenance, transportation and nutrition team for being instrumental in getting this program launched!

FHS Virtual B2SN:

These are definitely unique and unprecedented times, but this did not stop us from bringing our back to school night to our families! In collaboration with our translation partners and our mighty staff we were able to offer a remote simultaneous translation during our live virtual B2SN event. The evening focused on important information and tips on learning in a remote distance environment. Other topics included; academic support, attendance, google classroom, canvas, google and zoom meets, tech support and social emotional support.

Site Construction and Enhancements:

We are extremely excited with all the new enhancements being completed on site. Over the past few months, new exterior and interior painting, new flooring, updated classroom lighting, new cabinetry, a new pedestrian gate and a new shade covering over the FHS Café area are some of the enhancements that have been completed on campus. Café shade covering. Side pedestrian gate and walk pad. Exterior painting and new windows.

Student of the Month:

Congratulations to our ROCKET October student of the month, Liliana Guzman Gonzalez! Liliana was selected by FHS Staffulty as a model individual that exemplifies a ROCKET P.R.I.D.E. student.

Wishing you and your families a very happy and safe Thanksgiving holiday!
