FHS Leos Club Recap:

As the school year comes to an end, here is a recap for the FHS Leos.  The club included 25 Leos, participated in 44 events (excluding school prep hours and meetings), provided 729 hours of service (excluding meetings), and donated over $3,500 to charities (excluding materials and gifts for ARC).

This week the Leos had the privilege of delivering a number of donations.  Students worked throughout the year to save monies for organizations that they support.  The donations were discussed and voted upon by Leo members.  On Tuesday, students presented NAMI a check for $300 and on Tuesday Leo representatives delivered $500 to Food Share and $300 to Habitat for Humanity.  On Thursday, a representative of the American Cancer Society will receive $300 and finally, on Friday the Best Day Foundation will be given $300.   We salute the students who have made such a difference in their community. A special thank you to the Amber’s Light Lions of Camarillo for their generous outreach to Frontier 2019 graduates.  Four students will be presented with Chromebooks or gift cards next Tuesday to help them begin their college careers.  Congratulations to Pablo Mendoza, Ana Pena, Stacey Perez, and Stephany Ramirez.
