Our Peers Resource Group was pleased to welcome Lynn Bartosh from Ventura County Health. As it is Aids Awareness Month, she gave a wonderful, informative presentation to the Peers and PE classes on the current state of HIV/Aids in the county today.
The Leos were busy this week. They worked with the Oxnard Heritage Foundation, last week, helping with the annual Holly Trolley.
They then returned over the weekend to guide tours through the Gingerbread House displays.
On Wednesday they presented the people of ARC with one of their holiday gifts. This brought joy to all – givers and receivers!
Spirit Week was enjoyed by all and hosted by ASB. Monday was FLANNEL DAY, where everyone wore their best festive flannel. On Tuesday for TACKY TUESDAY, we wore the tackiest holiday clothes we have. On Wednesay everyone wore white for WINTERWONDERLAND DAY. Thursday was the most comfortable day, with everyone wearing their pajamas, for LAZY THURSDAY. The week wrapped up with the best dressed staff and student body wearing their holiday gear, ready to spread the holiday cheer, for SANTA’S WORKSHOP DAY.
